We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to work within Italy for our clients European growth markets. You will be accountable for leading energy storage sales for cross-functional teams. You will have a leading role to ensure we have predictable profitable sales, and project execution. /ppYou will be reporting to the Area Sales Director. /ppstrongResponsibilities: /strong /pp– Lead energy storage sales opportunities from the initial bid to award and contract execution /pp– Vet customers and opportunities to ensure efficient resource use /pp– Manage and maintain key account relationships /pp– Ensure correct pricing strategies and accurate cost estimations /pp– Lead stakeholders and project sales team to achieve business unit goals /pp– Utilise SOP data as a basis when assessing the correct cost estimations and schedules /pp– Ensure tenders and requirements are understood in detail within the project sales team and high-quality offers are prepared /pp– Ensure risks are evaluated and mitigated properly /pp– Ensure necessary internal reviews are conducted and approvals received /pp– Ensure contracting policies are followed and proper contract terms are achieved /pp– Lead contract negotiations and prepare winning sales negotiation strategies /pp– Manage and report the progress of project sales in CRM (Salesforce) accurately /pp– Ensure proper sales documentation in closing deals /pp– Ensure sales are properly transferred to the project execution team /pp– Drive company purpose and demonstrate company values of customer success, passion, and performance /ppstrongTo be successful in this role, we expect you to have: /strong /pp– 5 years experience in the utility-scale renewable energy industry, with a strong preference toward candidates with prior battery energy storage experience /pp– Promote and never sacrifice safety /pp– Is a senior sales leader with a strong track record of leading high-performing cross-functional teams /pp– Solution orientated /pp– Has a strong track record of negotiating complex sales projects /pp– Contractual and risk management experience /pp– Influencing and communication skills especially when working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders /pp– Lead by example and facilitate collaboration across organisations /pp– Broad understanding of energy storage business, solutions, and market outlook /pp– Has commercial and customer mindset combined with a structural approach /pp– Outstanding team player and excellent coaching skills /pp– Drive results with planning, change management, and execution skills /pp– Inspire people to take actions towards goals /pp– Appreciate diversity and ability to build psychological safety and inclusion within the organisation /pp– Readiness to travel, local and some international travel requirements (20%) /ppstrongYour success will be measured by /strong /pp– Successful project sales with end-to-end profitability /pp– Sales team engagement, stakeholder collaboration, and customer satisfaction /ppInterested, APPLY NOW! /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
