Job Overview:
* Drive the growth of the Solar Module sales business, identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities.
* Conduct regional market analysis, focusing on supply/demand trends, government policies, competitors’ activities, and distributor and installer performance.
* Build strong relationships with distributors, installers, and consultants, with tailored strategies for each.
* Set and meet quarterly and annual sales targets through proactive initiatives.
* Support marketing efforts for regional campaigns, including exhibitions and product launches.
* Prepare sales reports for management, tracking progress against goals.
* Gather and analyze customer feedback and market trends to influence product strategy.
* Engage with industry players to align product and service offerings with their needs.
* Develop proposals for tender responses, optimizing technical and commercial aspects.
* Identify new market segments for expansion.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers on product delivery and schedules.
* Participate in product design reviews to ensure quality standards.
* Partner with marketing and sales teams for product launches and rollouts.
Key Requirements:
* Experience: 3-5 years in the solar module industry, with experience working with manufacturers or selling to developers and EPCs.
* Sales & Business Development: Proven ability to generate sales and develop opportunities.
* Procurement & Customer Relations: Familiarity with procurement processes and customer response strategies.
* Decision Making: Ability to define guidelines, make decisions, and complete initiatives.
* Financial Acumen: Understanding of budgets and expenditures.
* Entrepreneurial Spirit: Sales-driven with a proactive mindset.
* Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build effective relationships.
* Critical Thinking: Strong analytical skills.
* Self-Starter: Independent and motivated.
* Organization & Planning: Excellent planning and organizational skills.
* Travel: Willing to travel up to 50-60%.
* Language Skills: Proficiency in English and the local language.
