Professional Recruitment is seeking a Key Account Manager – Industrial Safety for the Italian branch of a prestigious German Group, a global leader in safety engineering and automation. Within a context of business model evolution, the successful candidate will play a central role in consolidating the brand's direct market presence, managing the strategic transition from a distribution-based approach to direct partnerships with major industrial players.
Your Mission
As Key Account Manager, you will be the technical-commercial reference for the development of integrated safety solutions (Key Interlocking). You will be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle with a consultative approach, focusing on high-resistance solutions for complex industrial environments. Your activities will include:
- Strategic Development: promoting flagship modular solutions within heavy industry segments (Steel, Recycling, Concrete) and the Food & Beverage sector.
- Process Consultancy: supporting technical decision-makers in configuring complex safety architectures, optimizing plant efficiency and regulatory compliance.
- Territorial Governance: ensuring national coverage with a primary focus on Northern Italy, maintaining a consistent field presence and occasional visits to the German HQ.
- Reporting & Strategy: reporting directly to the Head of the Italian subsidiary, contributing to the growth of a lean and highly specialized team.
The Profile We Are Seeking
We are looking for a professional capable of combining commercial vision with a solid engineering background:
- Technical Background: education in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Machine Optimization. Knowledge of industrial safety standards is considered a significant plus.
- Track Record: at least 5 years in customer-facing commercial roles within the Machinery sector or complex industrial automation environments.
- Language Skills: good command of English, essential for constant communication with the German headquarters.
- Autonomy: strong aptitude for independent organization of the agenda and field-based activities (3-4 days a week on-site).
