Chaberton Professionals, a division of Chaberton Partners dedicated to the research and selection of Middle & Top Management profiles, is currently looking for a Plant Controller for a global leader in the fashion and luxury industry.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the financial operations of the leather goods plant in Naples.
* Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
* Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends and variances to provide actionable insights.
* Preparation and monitoring of the main industrial KPIs (internal department productivity, efficiency, waste, extra consumption, etc.) and sharing with various departments and Industrial Management.
* Monitor stock levels and support the inventory process, including validating inventory adjustments.
* Ensure accurate and timely inventory reporting and reconciliation.
* Support and coordination of inventory activities and validation of adjustments.
* Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, including the preparation of detailed financial plans and projections.
* Analyze actual vs. budget variances and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
* Business support through the creation of ad hoc analyses, business cases, and scenarios spanning one or more years.
* Present financial results and insights to senior management and other stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with deadlines
* Define, implement, and continuously improve financial processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
* Develop and maintain financial controls and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
* Monitor and enhance monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), analysis and corrective actions implementation in agreement with Industrial Department Management
* Conduct regular reviews of financial performance metrics and provide reports to senior management.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Degree in Economics or Management Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification is preferred.
* Minimum of 7 years of experience in finance controlling, preferably in the leather goods or manufacturing industry.
* Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
* Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Advanced proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
* High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Fluent in English
