Key Responsibilities :
In coordination with the local and international Sales, Business Development, and Marketing organizations, key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following :
* To form close relationships with end users, consultants, and specifiers in the Video Security Channel to promote the Hanwha brand, and to increase sales and demand for Hanwha security products.
* To achieve set objectives related to all relevant sales and product quantity mix. This involves strategic and active analysis of market opportunities, influencing decision makers, and ensuring sales growth.
* Strategic planning - Regular short and medium-term sales planning following sales workshops, liaising with the Hanwha Product Management team to share market information, and ensuring correct product positioning. Recommendations on marketing plans and strategic directions will be discussed with the Country Manager.
* Manage and develop the network of partners (integrators and installers) in the Hanwha channel partner program (STEP Programme), with responsibility for sales revenue generated through assigned partners.
* Support activity of Strategic Sales Managers for opportunities in the assigned region within defined Vertical Markets.
Areas of responsibility will include (but not limited to):
* End user consultations
* Consultants and specifiers
* Liaising with major system integrators at senior levels
* Updating customers with product information
* Increasing project pipeline and revenue with existing customers
* Creating a project pipeline with new customers
* Weekly reporting on sales and project progress
* Existing customer audit analysis
Product and market segmentation, positioning, and targeting
Contributing ideas towards marketing plans for new product launches and customer events.
Focusing on product/channel/customer margin.
Ensuring accurate forecasting.
Achieving budgets and targets.
Requirements :
* A proven track record in business development or sales, achieving sales in demanding environments.
* Extensive experience with CCTV and related technologies, or similar market segments, especially presenting solutions to end users and consultants/specifiers.
* Ability to work independently, understanding customer needs, defining solutions, and creating professional proposals.
* Knowledge of the electronic security market, main channels, and potential customers within IT & Networking.
* Experience working for a CCTV manufacturer is beneficial but not essential.
* Good understanding of new technologies, especially network video systems and topology.
* Business or technical degree is advantageous.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
* A desire to positively impact the market and brand recognition.
* Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
* Independent thinking and sound judgment.
* Motivational skills to lead teams towards targets.
* Team player with success in collaborative environments.
* Organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and solution-focused.
* Self-motivated, able to work independently.
* Strong project management, product planning, and communication skills, capable of presenting to board level and communicating effectively at all levels.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Proficiency in English and at least one local European language.
* Clean driving license.
Location :
This is a field-based role. The ideal candidate will reside in the Milan area or in the South region. Extensive travel within Italy is required, particularly in South Italy, with occasional travel outside Italy.
