Role SummaryJob DescriptionExpand Market Reach for Membrane Technologies - Drive Regional Growth in ItalyAs Sales Manager (m/f/d) for Italy within our Membrane Solutions business unit, you will be responsible for managing and expanding sales across the Italian market. You will identify business opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and position MANN+HUMMEL as a leading provider of membrane-based water treatment solutions. Working closely with regional sales teams, product management, and technical experts, you will help drive sustainable growth in one of our most promising and future-oriented segments.Your TasksDevelop new business and strengthen existing customer relationships in ItalyUnderstand customer applications and recommend optimal membrane solutionsContribute to country-specific sales strategies and support local marketing initiativesManage product certifications, technical documentation, and approval processes with clients and consultantsAnalyze market trends and competitor activities to define pricing and positioning approachesOversee day-to-day sales operations including quotations, order tracking, invoicing and customer serviceConduct product trainings, workshops, and represent MANN+HUMMEL at trade fairs and industry eventsCollaborate with Product Management and Technical Teams on pilot projects and solution developmentAct as the central contact for the Italien market while coordinating closely with European colleaguesYour ProfileEducation: Technical degree in Environmental or Process Engineering, Business Administration, or al related fieldProfessional Experience: At least 5 years of experience in B2B technical sales, preferably in the water treatment or membrane filtration sectorExpertise:Solid understanding of membrane technologies and water treatment applicationsProven track record of sales success in technical solution sellingSkilled in using CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce)Experience with competitive analysis, pricing strategies, and project-based businessConfident in delivering technical presentations and interacting with senior decision-makersLanguages: Business-fluent in English and Italian (spoken and written); other European languages are a plusPersonality:Customer-centric and consultative approach to salesStrong communication and interpersonal skills across cultures and functionsHigh level of self-motivation, resilience, and adaptabilityStrategic mindset combined with hands-on execution capabilityWillingness to travel as needed (approx. 30%-50%)Please send us your application documents in english.Diversity and inclusion are part of our DNA.
