Inside Technical Sales Specialist

Mission

\n:\n

The Inside Technical Sales helps the Sales Manager maximise sales opportunities while developing long-term relationships within an assigned portfolio of accounts (prospects and clients) that may span across different geographical areas.

\n

This position focuses on nurturing relationships with the company's small customers, supporting the CEO in organising business trips, and providing post-sales support to key clients.

\n

This is a full sales role that requires the willingness and ability to develop over time the technical knowledge to independently manage commercial relationships. The role is not just about persuading customers and prospects to buy and exceeding sales targets. It also includes support on admin tasks, sales activity tracking, writing reports, negotiating contracts, and getting involved with marketing tasks from time to time.

Summary

The primary responsibility of this role is to manage the \"long tail\" of the company's small customers through proactive outreach and support activities.

\n

Inside Technical Sales' primary objective is to generate new business from existing customers and achieve and exceed the assigned sales targets. The person creates, retains, and develops relationships with existing customers through emails, calls, virtual meetings, and virtual workshops to present how the Company and its portfolio of products can vantaggi them and solve their problems; develops thorough knowledge and provides feedback on market trends, competition, and customers’ needs; and runs the marketing/sales campaigns in the assigned portfolio.

The inside Technical Sales will also support the CEO in organising business trips and provide post-sales support to key clients.

Responsibilities

Customer

\n

Management

\n· Achieves and exceeds the sales targets for the assigned portfolio.\n

· Manage and maintain relationships with small customers.

\n

· Conduct proactive email and cold call outreach to generate leads and nurture existing relationships.

\n

· Makes the Company the “top of mind” of customers.

\n

· Establishes and nurtures a relationship with customers based on profound esteem and respect.

\n

· Negotiates offers, terms, and conditions through to their closing in accordance with the Company’s policies (price lists and discounts) and values.

\n

· Confidently and persuasively presents the Company and its product portfolio to expand the business.

\n

· Tracks sales vs. targets for the assigned portfolio.

\n

· Is the face of the Company for the assigned portfolio of customers and prospects.

\n

· Supports the Company’s participation in events and exhibitions.

\n

- Support for Key Clients:

\n· Organise and coordinate the CEO’s business trips, including contacting customers/prospects and defining the itinerary.\n

· Prepare relevant data and analysis for CEO meetings with key customers.

\n

· Receive and resolve key customers’ post-sales queries (e.g., order status and rescheduling, invoices, quality claims)

\n

\n· Support the definition and execution of the sales and marketing plan.\n

· Support the development and implementation of sales strategies.

\n

Requirements

\n:\n

· Must-haves o Languages:

\n

o Fluency in Italian and English (mandatory level B2 or above)

\n

o (will be tested during the selection process).

\n

o Advanced Microsoft Office skills:

\n

o Word (revisions, cross-references), PowerPoint (timed presentations)

\n

o (will be tested during the selection process).

\n

o Experience in Business to Business: The company's products are not intended for consumers.

\n

· Nice-to-have:

\n

o Knowledge of other European languages (Portuguese, Spanish, French, German).

\n

o Experience with SAP-B1.

\n

o Sales experience in international markets.

\n
