POPIT - Open Institute of Technology is an EU-accredited Higher Education Institution that wants to revolutionize the university-level teaching of computer science by providing students with up-to-date, competence-based, and entirely online degrees in this field. /ppbr/ppOPIT’s academic portfolio currently includes BSc and MSc degrees in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Cybersecurity, and Digital Business, all delivered in English. /ppbr/ppWe seek a dynamic bBusiness Developer for Capstone Projects /b to cultivate and manage a robust network of industry partners. This role is responsible for bleveraging strategic alliances /b to innovate the educational experience while driving collaborative projects that guarantee continuous quality assurance and deliver exceptional, quantifiable value to our industry collaborators by solving their most pressing business challenges. /ppbr/ppbKey Responsibilities: /b /pulliAct as the primary liaison between academia and industry, aligning Faculty expertise and research with high-potential, market-driven business opportunities. /liliEmploy a "knife between the teeth" approach, utilizing bcold calling /b, networking, and personal/Faculty/Student contacts to secure new corporate partnerships. /lilibI /bdentify critical company bpain points /b and strategically translate them into structured bCapstone Projects /b and applied research (ETSI) designed to deliver quantifiable business outcomes. /liliCreate and manage high-value partnerships, ensuring the effective matching of corporate requirements with academic knowledge and student skills. /li /ulpbr/ppbIdeal Candidate: /b /pulliBachelor's degree in a STEM field (Master's degree a plus). /liliRequired fluency in English (C1+) for technical negotiation, proposal drafting, and international stakeholder management. /liliMinimum of 3-5 years of experience building and managing industry partnerships /liliExcellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. /liliGood to have: strong understanding of higher education and the capstone project process, with a focus on STEM fields. /li /ulpbr/ppbUseful information: /b /ppThe position is offered on a bcontractual, independent basis /b, suitable for a self-employed professional. /p
