Job Description

:Spin Master is a leading global children's entertainment company, creating exceptional play experiences through it’s three creative centres: Toys, Entertainment and Digital Games. With distribution in over 100 countries, Spin Master is best known for award-winning brands PAW Patrol®, Bakugan®, Kinetic Sand®, Air Hogs®, Hatchimals®, Rubik’s Cube® and GUND®, and is the global toy licensee for other popular properties.What will you work on? National Account Manager is the lead point of contact for all matters specific to his/her customers. National Account Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships, overseeing customer account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements to maximize the profit.

How will you create impact?
1. Developing annual business plans that deliver upon company goals and meet customer needs.
2. Deliver product presentations, business proposals and ad plans to customers on time.
3. Understand the customer timelines and proactively provide customers with all information and materials required to make decisions and manage business effectively.
4. Work with support team to develop forecasts that best reflect market realities; update forecasts as required, monthly as a minimum.
5. Manage OA (spent vs Budget)
6. Timely and effective review of actual performance to ensure goals are achieved and adjust plans as necessary.
7. Manage customer specific budgets and update salesforce.
8. Analysis of sell through data and market intelligence to maximize business opportunities while minimizing risk.
9. Communicate clearly and efficiently with customers; and provide fast solutions to challenges.
10. Work proactively and effectively with team members to deliver best possible customer service.
11. Work in a team environment, providing feedback and coaching to your account management team.
12. Quickly gain a thorough understanding of all account business objectives and marketing plans by gaining multi-level and cross functional contacts within your account portfolio.
13. Develop innovative sales and marketing led account plans that will maximize Spin Master Italia’s performance within each account.
14. Co-ordinate trade marketing and marketing activity within your accounts to ensure delivery of planned volume, distribution and profit targets.
15. Maximize account profitability through strategic business planning including delivery of volume, revenue and margin and creative promotional work and good use of data to provide category solutions.
16. Work closely with accounts to gain joint agreement on objectives for sales growth whilst managing each account selections process.
17. Negotiate at senior level to ensure Spin Master Italia maximizes the advantage of long-term supply agreements and optimizes all elements of the marketing mix.
18. Accurate forecasting and working closely with the planning team to ensure stock is delivered to accounts as required.
19. Flexibility regarding accounts managed.
20. Actively work as part of a team to create a solution-oriented culture, leading by example.
21. Maintain and further develop the strong commercial and personal relationships between Spin Master Italia and your account base and ensure Spin Master Italia remains a preferred supplier

How will you fit into the team?
The National Account Manager reports to the Sales Director

What are your skills and experience?
22. Minimum 2 years of experience in similar role in the CPG or Toy industry preferred
23. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related area
24. Demonstrated success managing a business portfolio with a national retailer, Toys retailer preferred
25. Retail Experience either at store level or retail planning experience and asset
26. Customer driven approach and a “go-get” attitude
27. Ability to build and maintain relationships, both externally and internally
28. Proficiency in MS Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Salesforce an asset
29. Demonstrated organization, planning and communication skills
30. Goal oriented to achieve targets through self-motivation, persistence determination
31. Ability to create and maintain business presentations, Excel files, read POS reports
32. Demonstrated Financial Skills
33. Negotiation Skills
34. Ability to travel and a full clean driving license
