Job Description
DXC Technology is looking for Hadoop Administrator to join Analytics offering.
Responsibility
* Install, configure and maintain Hadoop clusters/ecosystem in Linux environment to ensure high availability, optimal performance and security
* Deploy, manage and monitor Hadoop clusters using Cloudera Manager or Apache Ambari or Ganglia Nagios
* Monitor connectivity and security. Maintain HDFS and providing necessary supports
* Work closely with database, network and software developers to support data processing and big data applications
Requirement
* At least 3 Y experience in the role
* Strong Linux system administration skills and knowledge of HDFS, YARN, MapReduce, Hive, Pig
* Good troubleshooting skills, understanding of system’s capacity and bottlenecks
* Previous experience on Financial Services will be considered preferable
