Our team takes a holistic approach, analyzing income tax, estate, gift, generation-skipping, philanthropic, retirement, and trust aspects of planning and compliance. We collaborate with clients, attorneys, and other advisors to achieve their goals. /ph3Responsibilities: /h3ulliAdvise ultra-high net worth clients on tax services including wealth transfer, charitable, retirement planning, and tax compliance. /liliLead engagement teams on individual, fiduciary, gift, generation skipping, and estate taxation, including planning and execution of client engagements. /liliAnticipate client needs, collaborate with colleagues in specialty tax areas, and support growth through relationship building. /liliParticipate in client proposals and develop new client relationships. /liliBuild collaborative teams, develop, and reward team members, delivering an exceptional talent experience. /liliContribute to technical expertise and strategic planning through committee participation. /liliDevelop and maintain strong relationships with clients, centers of influence, and other RSM promoters through networking and thought leadership. /liliAlign with RSM’s core values, vision, and strategy, and promote a collaborative enterprise environment. /li /ulh3Basic Qualifications: /h3ulliBachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field. /liliCPA license, licensed J.D., or enrolled agent (with approval). /liliAt least 8 years of experience in public accounting with emphasis on private client taxation, especially ultra-high net worth individuals, including leadership in client engagements and growth. /liliProficiency in individual, fiduciary, investment partnership, estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer taxation. /liliKnowledge of multi-state taxation. /liliStrong communication skills, with leadership ability and client management skills. /li /ulh3Preferred Qualifications: /h3ulliLL.M. or Master’s in Taxation. /li /ulpWe offer a competitive benefits and compensation package, flexible scheduling, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
