Regional Sales Manager
We are searching for a Regional Sales Manager at our VIMERCATE (IT01) facility.
Main mission of the role
1. The Regional Sales Manager is a key figure for expanding RFS sales throughout the assigned area (which includes Italy and several European countries) and reports to the Sales Leader for the South Europe geographic area.
The RSM will be responsible for Business Development and for managing commercial relationships in a high-potential area, ensuring the achievement of sales targets. The role involves autonomous management of the B2B sales cycle in the telecommunications sector, both traditional (Network Operators) and Enterprises using telecom equipment for their business (Vertical Markets).
Responsibilities
2. Business Development: Map the territory and actively identify new high-potential prospects (OEMs, system integrators, specialized distribution partners, installers, end users) in line with the company’s positioning
3. Independently manage the consolidated customer portfolio, ensuring a high level of satisfaction (Customer Retention) and maximizing incremental sales opportunities (Up-selling and Cross-selling)
4. Ensure a constant and strategic presence in the territory through scheduled visits and follow-ups
5. Develop and implement targeted sales strategies, analyze market dynamics, and identify new growth opportunities
6. Manage commercial negotiations, from preparing offers to closing contracts, in compliance with company pricing, margin and legal policies, interacting also with other internal support functions
7. Collaborate with Product Line Managers to identify new products based on market needs
8. Establish the sales forecast and keep it updated using CRM tools (Salesforce), tracking progress and status of identified opportunities
Main interfaces
9. The RSM interfaces internally with mainly with the Sales Leader for the Region, other RSM's, PLM's, B&P's, Order Management (Customer Service Team) and externally with the RFS Italia legal consultant, RFS Italia site leader.
Skills, knowledge and abilities
10. Prior experience in commercial/business development roles
11. Training or experience in international trade is appreciated
12. Previous experience and knowledge in the telecommunications sector is appreciated
13. Fluent command of English
14. Strong interpersonal skills and a strong results-oriented mindset
15. Willingness to travel within Italy and abroad for short business trips
