About the Role
GL events is a global leader in the event industry, and its Fashion Division includes two iconic brands: Première Vision, a prestigious and internationally recognized trade show for creative and high-quality fashion materials, and Tranoï, a curated platform for emerging and avant-garde designers.
We are looking for a Senior Sales Manager to lead the commercial development of the Italian exhibitor offer on our international fashion B2B trade shows.
Based in Italy, the candidate will be responsible for expanding our Italian exhibitor offer, strengthening client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities within the fashion and textile ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to grow Italian exhibitor participation in Première Vision, Tranoï, and other fashion-related events.
Identify and engage with key fashion brands, manufacturers, and suppliers across Italy.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
Collaborate closely with the marketing and communication teams to align sales efforts with promotional campaigns and brand positioning.
Provide market insights and feedback to the Fashion Division's Commercial Director to support strategic decisions.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
Prepare regular reports on sales performance, pipeline development, and market.
Develop, enrich and qualify our Italian exhibitors database.
Profile & Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the textile and fashion sector.
Strong network within the Italian fashion and textile sector.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and entrepreneurial mindset.
Fluent in Italian and English (knowledge of French is a plus).
Willingness to travel frequently across Italy and abroad.

Reporting to the Director, Sales – Southern Europe, the position will work closely with the Internal Sales team and Technical Sales team to drive the overall Company business strategy.
Develops and executes sales business plans and strategies to maximize revenue growth, increase market share, and position the company as a strategic supplier at Key customers within Region.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Manages customer activities within the defined Region, works in conjunction with the Internal Sales Representative and Technical Manager to increase sales of Electronics products and services to customers in accordance with agreed strategies and business plans.
Identifies major opportunities, gain information, and develop strategies utilizing all available resources to grow the account base within Region.
Manages the full sales cycle from lead generation, qualifying business opportunities, creating and delivering sales presentations, creating sales proposals, negotiating and closing the deal.
Responsible for accurate and timely forecasting of new business opportunities and revenue for the region and ensuring CRM is utilized and maintained on a daily basis.
Provides effective communication and service to the customer base and effectively navigate internally to influence decisions and priorities on active business opportunities.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
BA or BS Degree Required
Experience managing a large territory and working from a virtual office
Strong technical sales experience and a proven track record of successfully selling high tech product solutions (strong working knowledge of the Semiconductor industry preferred)
Proven background in developing relationships with key decision makers and influencers including experience in closing complex product deals.
Excellent communication, negotiating, closing skills with customers/prospects
Flexibility and multi-tasking, ability to undertake several tasks at once and manage them efficiently
Ability to work through a problem and maintain focus with little or no supervision
Positive attitude with an ability to absorb & learn quickly
