Alectris is an international service provider for renewable assets focusing mainly in the European market. With offices in Thessaloniki, Athens, Milan, and South Italy, we manage activities across various countries in Europe and beyond. Our core focus is on operations and maintenance of renewable assets, complemented by engineering services and EPC mainly for photovoltaic plants and, to a lesser extent, wind farms. We are also active globally in the software sector with our proprietary ACTIS solar ERP for renewable assets. The Business Development Manager will identify, prospect, and sell our products and services to clients in Italy. They will contribute to preparing and executing marketing and sales strategies in collaboration with the CEO and team. The role involves working closely with the O&M and Projects divisions, participating in tenders, preparing offers, nurturing leads from web inquiries and networks, and representing the company at various events. Occasional attendance at trade shows and events across Europe will be required for promoting our offerings. Responsibilities Develop growth strategies focusing on financial gain and customer satisfaction Research new markets and customer needs Prepare and negotiate sales contracts Prospect actively through cold calling and social selling Respond to web-generated leads, nurturing them to closure Maintain relationships with clients for cross-selling and feedback collection Gather competitive intelligence and perform market analysis as needed Keep records of sales activities using the company's CRM Prepare responses to RFIs, RFPs, and tenders Engage in customer discussions, proposal writing, presentations, negotiations, and contract management Coordinate with marketing for campaigns and industry materials Attend trade shows and conferences Collaborate with third parties for offer preparation Report regularly to the CEO Qualifications Strong industry knowledge Excellent English skills Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 3-4 years of relevant business development experience in the industry Deep understanding of the solar and renewables market Knowledge of sales techniques and marketing principles Sales and marketing training or qualifications Self-motivated, proactive, and structured in approach Experience with CRM systems is advantageous Excellent interpersonal and communication skills High integrity and professionalism Strong time management and prioritization skills Ability to set and achieve goals individually and in teams Willingness to travel domestically for trade shows and client meetings J-18808-Ljbffr
