Job Responsibilities
Lead all culinary operations, ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly, efficiently, and at high quality.
Manage food costs, supplier relationships, and inventory; maximize profitability while maintaining standards and minimizing waste.
Oversee kitchen hygiene, safety, equipment maintenance, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff; foster a positive, high‐performance culture.
Collaborate closely with the Restaurant Manager and front‐of‐house team to ensure seamless service.
Drive innovation: introduce seasonal specials, refine menus, and implement new techniques while preserving brand consistency.
Ensure consistency in food preparation, presentation, and portioning in line with brand standards.
Take ownership of kitchen scheduling, labor costs, and team organization to ensure optimal staffing.
Maintain strong communication with suppliers and stakeholders to align product quality and operations.
Lead by example during service, remaining hands‐on and supporting the team during peak times.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high‐volume, fast‐paced kitchen.
Expertise in Italian cuisine, especially pizza‐making techniques, and passion for quality, authentic ingredients.
Solid understanding of cost management (food costing, inventory management, waste control).
Fluent in Italian; good communication skills in English.
Excellent leadership skills; ability to lead by example in a multicultural environment.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
