We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Account Manager who can provide agile support to our top advertisers, earning trust and ensuring business goals are achieved during transitional periods. You will be an integral part of the team, driving success, sharing learnings, and best practices. Passion for teaching advertisers how to make optimal, analytically driven marketing decisions with Amazon Ads is essential.
This role is highly collaborative, involving work with Creative, Sales, Product, and Retail partners. Your strategic digital expertise is critical to unlocking greater value and impact for our advertisers.
Key job responsibilities
* Deliver revenue while managing complex advertiser goals and problems.
* Own and grow existing client revenues, potentially expanding regionally.
* Become an expert on Amazon solutions and adapt recommendations based on advertiser needs.
* Solve ambiguous problems and mitigate risks proactively.
* Develop annual brand and campaign media plans using mastery of media and communications.
* Create and identify new insights from research, educating customers with customized insights.
* Provide in-depth data analysis to develop actionable insights and future campaign recommendations.
This is a client-facing role, requiring up to 20% domestic travel as needed, or approximately once per month. Global travel may be required up to twice annually.
A day in the life
As a Sales Account Manager on the Adapt team, you will work with advertisers and agencies to create and execute advertising strategies, driving incremental revenue. You will rotate across teams and verticals to cover open books of business due to leaves of absence, using your experience to generate value for internal stakeholders and clients. You will consult with clients to define goals and develop tailored advertising strategies, utilizing complex data-driven insights to enhance understanding of their campaigns and business objectives. Internally, you will collaborate closely with Sales, Creative, Product, and other teams to ensure advertiser success.
