GE Grid Solutions, a leader in power transmission, is seeking an Air Insulated Switchgear (AIS) Product Sales Specialist to drive growth in the European Instrument Transformer market. We seek a dynamic, technically skilled, and sales-oriented individual capable of creating, maintaining, and strengthening links between customers, sales reps, and factories. Job Responsibilities Assess the European market, plan strategic actions to enhance market penetration, and coordinate activities between factories and local sales teams to complete homologations with major EU utilities. Manage customer meetings, presentations, training sessions, deal desk project presentations, and offer preparations. Potentially extend responsibilities to the complete AIS product package in the medium to long term. Cover all EU countries, focusing on improving market penetration as part of the Europe AIS Sales Specialists Team. Develop AIS-ITR business, coordinate tenders, qualify products, ensure customer satisfaction, and build sales strategies to meet growth targets in alignment with GE values. Roles and Responsibilities Formulate and execute sales strategies and agreements. Develop deal structures, pricing, and proposals. Assist in customer negotiations. Identify new product and service opportunities. Apply Lean methodologies to improve proposals. Gain in-depth knowledge of sales territory, products, markets, and customer groups. Make autonomous decisions within a defined framework for projects, markets, and customers. Communicate effectively with colleagues and the business. Provide guidance to new team members. Explain complex information clearly. Must-Haves Long-term experience and technical expertise in Instrument Transformer products. Fluent in English and German; knowledge of French, Spanish, and Italian is a plus. Ability to analyze, resolve problems, document, plan, present, and execute programs. Project management skills. Preferred Location Southern Europe: Spain (Madrid), Italy (Noventa di Piave), or France (Villeurbanne - Lyon).
