Overview of the Personal Finance Business Development Department
The Personal Finance Business Development Department covers the following areas:
* Supervision of the subsidiaries of CA Personal Finance and Mobility
* Development of the banking servicing markets, home equipment, and short distribution channels for the CA Personal Finance and Mobility Group
Reporting to the Director, the International Business Developer is responsible for business development in the Personal Finance market in coordination with CA Personal Finance and Mobility entities. You will be the key contact for acquiring international partners, including retail chains, manufacturers, and technological partners generating business leads, as well as for expanding existing partnerships.
Responsibilities Prospecting
* Support the development of the Personal Finance prospecting strategy in line with Crédit Agricole Group’s medium-term plan.
* Implement the approved strategy for recruiting international partners, from initial contacts to operational launch alongside CA PFM subsidiaries.
* Identify and strengthen relationships with key industry players to be proactively included in Requests for Proposals (RFPs) & Requests for Information (RFIs), particularly through participation in professional events and trade fairs to enhance CA PFM’s visibility.
* Coordinate responses to RFPs & RFIs for all CA PFM subsidiaries and engage internal stakeholders in preparing and implementing responses.
* Identify technological players within ecosystems/verticals (Payment Service Providers (Ayden, Stripe), Content Management Systems, orchestrators, etc.) to develop business‑referral partnerships.
* Conduct market and competitor monitoring by activating expert functions.
* Structure sustainable and value‑creating partnership models to reinforce partner relationships on an international scale.
Group & Intragroup Transversality
* Ensure transversal collaboration with partnership coordination & supervision teams, country managers, and teams in charge of profitability and product offering.
* For Business Developers managing major international partners, lead corporate‑level relations and coordinate central and local actions with impacted subsidiaries.
* Strengthen business development with entities of Crédit Agricole SA, especially the referral network in Europe (CACIB, Amundi, Foreign Desks, etc.).
* Develop synergy opportunities within CA PFM and IBS, notably by building close business ties with CAL&F, CAAB, and Crédit Agricole retail banks.
* Identify and coordinate improvement actions related to tools and processes to enhance efficiency.
* Prepare decision‑making files for any new partnership agreements or partnership extensions for presentation to the Group and/or subsidiary governance bodies.
