Sell at the most strategic (C-level) within the account and implement a broad strategy for earning customer acceptance and service implementation. Collaborate with AWS resources (Executives, Partner, Support, Solution Architect) to support customer interests and advocate for the customer while aligning with AWS business needs. Develop and execute a coverage plan and business objectives; drive new service adoption and new lines of business. Maintain dotted-line responsibility for partnership and technical collaboration. A day in the life Engage with senior financial services executives and technical leaders to understand requirements and drive revenue growth in existing large accounts and penetration of new accounts. Demonstrate the ability to balance technical and business considerations and to grow teams with relevant capabilities. Influence at CXO level as well as with IT leadership and Alliance/Marketing executives; foster active engagement with partners and customers. Basic Qualifications
Experience engaging and influencing senior executives, with strong familiarity with decision-making processes in enterprise customers. Experience exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all organizational levels (technical, business, executive). Target-oriented with demonstrated sales experience in B2B settings, including decision making, problem solving, and negotiating skills. 10+ years of technology sales and sales management experience. Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, finance, or economics. Experience driving adoption of new and disruptive technologies. Knowledge of AWS or technology as a service (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS). Experience managing strategic accounts and working with multiple business units and technology teams.
