The European Account Manager at UPS Healthcare is responsible for achieving their assigned sales plan by generating profitable UPS revenue through the development of new business and the retention and penetration of existing business.
The assigned portfolio includes customers with an annual UPS spend of at least 40,000 EUR across all products (mainly Small Package, Warehousing, Freight Forwarding, Active Cold Chain Ground, and Packaging). The EAM will also manage all potential satellite locations for these customers across Europe.
Hunting for new business will require working in a specific postal code area. The European Account Manager will be out on the road visiting customers for most of the week, with a minimum of 5 in-person customer meetings per week.
Skills and Experience:
* University degree/diploma or equivalent
* Excellent English skills, both verbal and written
* Proficient in Microsoft Office products
* Previous experience as an Account Executive with proven success in sales
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal, presentation)
* Proactive, ambitious, confident, quick learner, and self-initiating
* Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Excellent organizational skills and autonomy
* Willingness to travel frequently within Italy (minimum 3 days per week) and occasionally across Europe
* Healthcare sector experience is preferred
