Not only the Farsides is considered to be a unique take on cuisine, but they also aim to please with a brand new re-imagining of the Tiki bar concept. The mixology program features no less than a dozen modern interpretations of classic cocktails you would normally only expect to find on the Islands. The duties include: - Wash, peel, cut and slice ingredients - Prepare meal ingredients for the cooks and chefs - Assist to unload food supplies from delivery vehicles - Pack take-out orders as needed - Sweep and mod floors and clean workstations - Remove and replace garbage bags and wash cans - Wash and range properly all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment - Other related tasks Required skills: - Minimum 1 year experience in restauration - Minimum High School Degree Language requirements: - French or English knowledge is a must Terms of Employment, Wage and working hours: - Temporary/Contractual position available with the option of extension - Hourly wage of $16.00 for 40 hours per week Benefits package: - 2 weeks of vacation per year as per the Quebec Law. - Private insurance until provincial health coverage (RAMQ). - Title of the position: Cook Number Vacant Position: 4 Main duties: We are looking for a cook to work at our Supperclub located in Montreal, downtown. The duties include: - Prepare and cook dishes - Oversee the kitchen operations - Maintain inventories and supplies - Ensure a high standard of cleanliness is respected - Make adjustment to accommodate clients with specific diet and health concerns - Work under the instructions of the Chef - Arranging and garnishing the dishes - Other related tasks Required skills: - Minimum 2-year experience as a cook or Trade Certification - Cooking Language requirements: - French or English knowledge is a must Terms of Employment, Wage and working hours: - Temporary/Contractual position available with the option of extension - Hourly wage of $18.00 for 40 hours per week Benefits package: - 2 weeks of vacation per year as per the Quebec Law. - Private insurance until provincial health coverage (RAMQ). - Title of the position: Chef Number Vacant Position: 2 Main duties: We are looking for a Chef to work at our Supperclub located in Montreal, downtown. The duties include: - Prepare and cook speciality food - Create new recipes as needed - Analyze recipes and make menu changes when necessary to minimize overhead costs - Supervise kitchen activities - Instruct cooks in preparation cooking, garnishing and presentation of food - Meeting with clients as needed to arrange menu items for special occasions - Coordinate food budget and purchase - Monitor and oversee sanitation practices as per the standard and regulations of cleanliness - Establish staff schedule to ensure there is sufficient help and timely delivery Required skills: - Minimum 2 years experience as a Chef - Trade Certification - Cooking Language requirements: - French or English knowledge is a must Terms of Employment, Wage and working hours: - Temporary/Contractual position available with the option of extension - Hourly wage of $21.00 for 40 hours per week Benefits package: - 2 weeks of vacation per year as per the Quebec Law. - Private insurance until provincial health coverage (RAMQ) Salary: €441.20 - €579.20 per week Experience: - Commis de cuisine H/F: 1 year (required) Language: - Français (required) - Anglais (required) Shift availability: - Day Shift (required) - Night Shift (required) Work Location: In person
