Descrizione

Main responsibilities

* Provide direct technical support to customers, offering recommendations and effective solutions to resolve printing process‑related issues.
* Develop and strengthen commercial relationships with existing or prospect customers, identifying sales potential, growth opportunities and targeted actions to increase market share.
* Act as the technical and commercial interface between customers, the internal sales team, operations and R&D laboratories, supporting solution development, project execution and follow‑up activities.
* Understand customers’ technical, production and business needs, translating them into concrete sales opportunities and value‑added proposals.
* Manage and promote the product portfolio, ensuring the offering is aligned with customer requirements, technological developments and Narrow Web market trends.
* Actively support the development of new solutions, services and technical‑commercial approaches aimed at improving customer experience and strengthening the company’s competitive positioning.
* Work closely with the internal support team in preparing offers, technical presentations, customer engagement activities and business development plans.
* Monitor the market, competitors and emerging applications, contributing to the definition of commercial and product strategies.
* Ensure the achievement of objectives defined by the line manager, both from a technical and commercial perspective.
* Keep the company CRM updated with accurate information on customers, opportunities, activities, pipeline and follow‑up actions.


Specific Requirements

* Job location may also be considered outside Lombardy.
* In-depth knowledge of the Narrow Web market.
* Proven experience in technical‑commercial roles, preferably in the printing, inks, coatings, packaging or related industries.
* Ability to build strong customer relationships and identify new business opportunities.
* Proven English language skills are mandatory.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and CRM systems.
* Willingness to travel exstensively to customers, trade fairs or industry events.

The ideal candidate is flexible, reliable and independent, with the ability to interact effectively with different stakeholders, both internally and externally, at all organizational levels. The candidate should have a strong customer focus, good listening skills and the ability to turn technical needs into concrete business opportunities.

Strong interpersonal skills, initiative, a consultative sales approach, problem‑solving attitude and the ability to work cross‑functionally with sales, operations, R&D and local technical teams are required. The candidate should also demonstrate proactivity in business development, result orientation and the ability to manage priorities and follow‑up activities independently.
