Drive Innovation and Growth in Sustainable Materials
This is your opportunity to play a key role in launching a breakthrough plastic wire product at a well-funded international manufacturer. Based near Treviso, just 25 minutes from Venice, you’ll combine hands-on engineering with commercial influence — and step into a clear leadership track.
You'll join a newly acquired site that’s ramping up operations fast: a second line is launching by year-end, with a third planned. Backed by a joint venture and private equity funding, this role is part of a broader global expansion into sustainable solutions.
In this role, you will:
Reconfigure and optimise baling machines to support plastic wire (e.g., adapting twist settings, guiding systems)
Lead technical trials and product adaptation efforts with clients across Europe and North America
Provide training to internal teams and customer partners on polymer processing and machinery usage
Support plant expansion and transition into a leadership position over 1–2 years
Collaborate cross-functionally to help shift clients from steel to innovative plastic alternatives
You’ll need:
2–5 years’ experience in polymer processing or plastic extrusion (or a closely related field)
A degree in Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering
Commercial acumen and the confidence to engage clients on technical solutions
Fluent English; Italian and/or German are assets but not required
Benefits:
Clear path to become Plant Manager within 2–3 years
Involvement in a global growth strategy, with travel opportunities
Competitive salary, retention package, and potential management equity at business exit (planned in 3–4 years)
Strong mentorship from international leadership and JV partners
