RINA is currently recruiting for a Italy Food Mandatory Certification Operations Auditor to join its office in Naples, Italy within the Mediterranean & Africa Certification Division.MissionThe resource will be responsible for the management and control of medium-large supply chains operating on the food PDO PGI scheme and in particular on the dairy sector. Among the main ones, inspection activities, review of practices, resolution activities, interfaces with consortia, trade associations, and industry operators, as well as coordination of inspection staff, stand out.Key AccountabilitiesDocument ReviewCheck customer management system documents, including manuals, procedures, instructions, files, records, and technical documents, to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.Audit ParticipationParticipate in and conduct audits, which involves conducting interviews, taking comprehensive notes, and evaluating the implementation of management systems.Audit Result DefinitionIdentify and define audit results (Positive and negative findings as non conformities, opportunity of improvement).Technical ReviewCarry out a technical review of audit files, providing insights and recommendations for certification decisions.Skill MaintenanceKeep skills, qualifications, and certifications up to date by staying informed about industry standards, regulations, and best practices.Data ManagementMaintain updated records of customer data and other information relevant to the audit process.Customer FocusDemonstrate a strong customer focus by understanding and responding to customer requests and needs. Strive for high customer satisfaction by ensuring the quality and effectiveness of audit activities.QualificationsBasic understanding of auditing principles and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc.).
