The roleThe role will be strategic in defining, developing, and managing the product portfolio, with direct responsibility for innovation, quality, and intellectual property protection, operating in a highly international and cross-functional environment.

Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & RoadmapDefine product vision and strategy aligned with the brand's premium positioningAnalyze market trends, competitive benchmarks, and technological innovationsDevelop and manage the product roadmap (devices, accessories, technologies)Identify innovation opportunities and drive continuous improvement of the portfolio
Product DevelopmentCoordinate product development with OEM/ODM partners and manufacturers in ChinaManage the local supply chain team in China to ensure alignment, timelines, and production qualityOversee product briefs, technical specifications, and functional documentationFollow prototyping, testing, validation, and technical optimization phasesEnsure compliance with quality standards, development milestones, and technical requirementsCollaborate with internal teams (Supply Chain, Product Compliance, Trade & Marketing, Operations) to ensure design consistency and industrial feasibilityPeriodic visits to suppliers in China and EU
Intellectual Property & Patent ManagementWork with legal advisors and patent attorneys to define the IP strategyIdentify innovative elements with patent potential during product developmentSupport the preparation of technical documentation for patent filingsMonitor the patent portfolio (deadlines, international extensions, coverage)Conduct patent landscape analysis to assess the competitive landscape and infringement risks
Regulatory & Compliance AlignmentCollaborate with the Compliance team to ensure adherence to applicable regulationsIntegrate regulatory requirements into product development specifications
Product Lifecycle ManagementMonitor quality performance and market feedbackManage technical updates, product revisions, and phase-outsEnsure coherence and robustness of the portfolio over the medium-long termManage and improve the proprietary product portfolio tracking application, collaborating with internal teams to ensure continuous evolution aligned with operational and business needs
Team ManagementManagement of the operational product team at HQManagement of the Product & Product Supply Chain team in China
Candidate Profile7+ years of experience as a Product Manager in hardware, consumer electronics, vape, or related sectorsBachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or Business Management with a strong technical background.Proven experience coordinating production and suppliers in China and EuropeFamiliarity with intellectual property protection processes and patent managementStrong analytical skills and data-driven approachExperience in multi-market contexts and international organizationsFluent in English and Italian (written and spoken)Work location: Buje, Croatia, at the company's HQ
