POSITION SUMMARY
Sales Director EMEAI is a professional who manages and oversees the sales operations in an organization. Primary responsibility will be designing plans to meet growth targets, developing relationships with clients/customers, evaluating costs for selling products and services maximizing the margins and creating an engaging environment for the Sales team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Create and execute a sales strategy that aligns with the company’s overall objectives and drives revenue growth in the Europe region. Work closely with Product Management, Marketing, Engineering.
* Champion RBS (growth tools) and apply the RBS mindset (specifically but not limited to 80/20) and problem‑solving process.
* Build and maintain strong, long‑lasting customer relationships: perform all sales activities (including but not limited to channel management, customer site sales calls, telephone calls, trade, product, and customer seminars). For assigned key accounts establish and maintain relationships and provide account management as needed.
* Collect and report information on all competitive activity, business opportunities, sales trends and results within the assigned market, providing regular monthly input to the leadership team.
* Lead the sales function in the EMEAI region—mentor and motivate a diverse sales team, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Set SMART goals, performance development goals, develop successors for leadership level, run activities to increase engagement, and set communication channels for both the team and individuals.
* Manage the sales budget, optimizing resource allocation and investment strategies to meet annual and monthly targets. Lead monthly business reviews and KPI reviews for the assigned region.
* Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related is preferred.
Experience developing and executing strategic plans coupled with the ability to drive tactical action plans.
At least 10 years of commercial experience with a demonstrated ability to increase market share.
At least 10 years of leadership experience with global responsibility.
Proven experience leading the implementation of substantial change initiatives.
Experience within the Motion Control or Automation industry is preferred.
Data‑driven, analytical with a sense of urgency and a non‑political, team‑oriented style.
Exceptional communication skills (persuasive and influential).
International experience including U.S. and Europe preferred.
Moderate to heavy travel is required.
Regular visits to key customers in the assigned region.
Must exercise continuous leadership to focus efforts on growth priorities. A strong commitment to the Regal Business System (RBS) process is critical.
