TASK RESPONSIBILITIES: - Build relationships with customers by meeting with them to discuss their needs and expectations. Work with the Customer Service team to ensure all customer inquiries are promptly addressed. - Collaborate with colleagues of the Italy team to share knowledge and best practices. - Comply with all Cargolux procedures, including those related to ethics, compliance, and safety. - Be willing to take on additional responsibilities to support goals. - Develop a comprehensive sales plan that aligns with our organizational goals - Build relationships with customers through face-to-face meetings, phone calls, and presentations. Negotiate and close deals to grow revenue. Manage the sales process from start to finish using a CRM system. - Be knowledgeable about all company products and services. - Use all available resources to achieve sales goals. Provide excellent customer service that exceeds customer expectations. Comply with all applicable regulations. - Work with other teams to gather information, negotiate pricing, and prepare for the handover of shipments to operations. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION: - At least 3-5 years of experience in a sales position - Experience within the air cargo industry with an airline or forwarder - Have excellent know-how and experience in the air cargo industry - Have highly developed skills in interacting with people of various cultural backgrounds - Excellent interpersonal skills - Strong written and oral communication skills - Ability to deal with ambiguity and change within a fast paced environment - Be able to deal with tight deadlines - Be assertive and able to work independently - Be fluent in English and Italian (oral/written) WORKING CONDITIONS: - A Certificate of good conduct will be required in case of positive selection - Occasional travel required within the entire Cargolux network - Position based in Milano Truccazzano, Italy
