Responsibilities
* Drive the implementation of business development strategies across Italy and originate and close new business opportunities.
Skills & Experience Requirements
* Proven track record in a business development or sales role, achieving sales in a demanding environment.
* Extensive experience with CCTV and related technologies, or similar market segment, especially in presenting solutions to end users and consultants/specifiers.
* Ability to work independently to understand customer needs, define solutions, and create professional commercial proposals for customers (system integrators, end-users).
* Knowledge of the electronic security market, main channels, and potential customers within IT & Networking.
* Experience working for a CCTV manufacturer is beneficial but not essential.
* Good understanding of new technologies, especially network video systems and topology.
* Business or technical degree level education is advantageous.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
* Desire to positively impact the market and brand recognition.
* Ability to develop strong relationships with internal colleagues and key clients.
* Independent thinking, good judgment, and motivation to achieve targets.
* Team player with success in team situations.
* Well-organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and solution-focused.
* Self-motivated, able to work independently.
* Strong project management, product planning, and communication skills, capable of presenting at board level and communicating clearly at all levels.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Fluent in English and at least one local European language.
* Clean driving license.
Location : This is a field-based role, ideally based in South Italy, with extensive travel within Italy and possibly outside Italy.
