About the Position
This is a hands-on sales role that involves identifying and recruiting new dealers, supporting and developing existing distributors, and managing key accounts in Italy and surrounding countries.
The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of business development and dealer management experience in Europe, particularly in Italian-speaking countries. They should also have proven experience of features-benefit-solutions selling in a high-tech environment for Geospatial industries such as surveying, construction, mapping, GIS, marine survey, and precision agriculture.
Key responsibilities include achieving regional sales targets, creating regional sales plans and quotas, conducting direct and indirect business development activities, driving and supporting distributors, responding to sales inquiries, visiting customers, and proposing trade shows and events.
The successful candidate will be a results-oriented individual with a positive outlook, excellent communication skills, and a strong ability to negotiate. They should possess a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Sales/Marketing/Engineering and fluency in Italian and English.
This position requires frequent travel in Italian-speaking countries (approximately 50%) and occasional travel in Europe to visit business partners and clients.
