We are looking for a Product Manager to be hired in our Business Unit Transmission. We provide state-of-the-art solutions for High Voltage Underground and Submarine cable links in some of the world’s most challenging environments.
Your role
* Ensure the management of a cohesive Product Portfolio in line with the Company growth objectives.
* Define & drive the Product offerings, their development & commercialization.
* Identify and develop technical and commercial opportunities during the pre-ITT stages.
* Country of Operation (subject to change as per business needs): ITALY.
* Country of Responsibility: Worldwide.
* Customer profile: TSO, Developers, O&G Operators, and Utilities.
Team Overview and Job responsibilities
You will be in charge of:
* Increasing presence in front of clients to deepen understanding of requirements, present the product, and influence their specifications.
* Gathering market data, performing competitive analysis, and benchmarking competition.
* Maintaining professional and technical knowledge, assisting in industry standards activities, and participating in industry-related events.
* Guiding internal stakeholders on expectations and supporting in identifying R&D projects aligned with company strategy.
* Providing guidance & product information to sales managers and conveying relevant market data & competitive analysis to the team.
* Liaising with relevant functions to translate customer requirements into viable and value-added proposals.
* Supporting sales with bid strategy definition and bid team with technical solution definition.
* Reviewing product costs and advising on market pricing levels.
* Attending tender review meetings, TPA meetings, and internal kick-off meetings as requested.
* Consolidating all product-related issues across streams, driving internal development, and coordination across functions.
* Overseeing the entire product lifecycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
* Evaluating performance and identifying gaps in the product.
* Creating and maintaining a product roadmap.
* Specifying requirements for current and future products.
Travel Requirements
Worldwide frequent travels may be required.
Who are you?
* You hold a degree in technical engineering.
* Deep technical knowledge of submarine HVDC cable systems.
* Proven experience in engineering/technical roles in the cable industry.
* Fluent in English, written and spoken.
* Knowledge of the submarine and HV cable business/market.
* Technical and commercial presentation skills.
* Flexibility and capability to manage changes during work.
* Good relationship approach.
* Team working capability.
* Problem-solving and target-oriented.
* Pragmatism and the ability to set and handle priorities pragmatically.
* Capacity to understand and conceptualize complexity into concise frameworks.
* Willingness to learn quickly and get involved.
* IT skills: MS Office, project planning tools, PPT expertise.
