NEXION S.p.A., world leader in equipment for tire dealers and automotive workshops, is looking for a dynamic Export Area Manager to join the team of one of its historic brands based in the Correggio (RE) area, Italy.
Key ResponsibilitiesFull responsibility for the sales and margin budget within the assigned areaManagement and development of distributors and partners operating in the territorySales activities, technical consulting and customer support in assigned marketsDevelopment of new partnerships and customer accounts to increase business volumeIdentification and appointment of new distributors to strengthen and complete the distribution networkContinuous monitoring of market and product knowledge, providing structured feedback on market trends, pricing, competitors, and win/loss analysisProduct presentations (both verbal and written)Identification of new product introduction and business development opportunities to penetrate existing and new marketsDevelopment of business relationships with new direct prospectsSupport in user acceptance phases during project implementation at customer sitesRegular customer visitsProfileBachelor's degree preferredProven track record in developing new business and managing customers within the machinery/mechanical sectorAbility to understand complex technical requirements and translate them into effective commercial solutionsStrong enthusiasm and determination, combined with a pragmatic and results-oriented approachSelf-motivated and well-organized, able to work independently in a geographically dispersed roleAmbitious and career-driven, with the willingness to take on increasing responsibilityAvailability to travel up to 50% within the assigned areaFluency in English and at least one additional major foreign language (French is considered a strong asset)Previous experience in a similar role, even if limited in durationPersonal SkillsProactive mindsetStrong team-working attitude in both local and international environmentsStructured approach to problem-solving and organizationAbility to plan activities effectively and meet deadlines
