Delivery Lead Manager

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Delivery Lead Manager with a strong technical background to oversee complex delivery projects within Health & Public Services, with specific experience in Local Public Administration. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are executed on time, within budget and aligned with the strategic objectives of the organization. This role requires proven experience in leading projects within the industry, a deep understanding of processes and methodologies, strong leadership skills and excellent communication abilities.
What you will do
Client Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships.
- Understand client needs and requirements and ensure these are effectively communicated to the delivery team.
- Regularly update clients on project progress, manage expectations and address any issues or concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with the Sales Accounts to develop the business on the Client.
Project Delivery
- Lead planning, execution and delivery of projects, ensuring on-time, within-budget and quality standards.
- Develop detailed project plans, allocate resources and manage delivery schedule.
- Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, reporting on progress and any necessary adjustments.
Team Leadership
- Strong management skills, strategic thinking and problem-solving.
- Oversee a team of project managers, coordinators and other delivery staff.
- Provide guidance, mentorship and performance feedback to team members.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities for improving delivery processes and implementing best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and standards.
Risk Management
- Identify potential risks to project success and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and manage project risks and issues, escalating them as necessary.
- Understand the competitive landscape and emerging technologies that impact the sector.
- Anticipate client needs and identify new business opportunities.
Qualifications
Skills and experiences
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration or a related field. A master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus.
- 5–7 years of experience in project management, delivery management with strong technical background and proven experience managing complex delivery projects for Local Public Administration.
- Proven experience managing system integration projects.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (MS Project, JIRA, Trello).
Compensation
Base salary range is €39,180 to €72,000. The ultimate compensation will be based on role, seniority, location, responsibilities, skills and experience.
