Re-use is the key word as the Tosca family of businesses facilitates moving away from single use packaging towards a circular model of reusable packaging with its robust portfolio of containers, pallets, and bins. Your challenge To support our fast growth in Italy we are looking for an eager and dedicated Account Manager Italy to join our local Sales team. Your Role As an Account Manager, you are responsible for the upstream sales of our company. Researching the B2B market for opportunities mainly in the food industry and building long term relations with your customers is your main goal. You will function as an expert in order to understand your customers and help them achieve their supply chain needs. You will acquire a deep understanding of our service, calculate offers and negotiate contracts with your customers. This position will be based in the north of Italy with lots of travel through the country. Tasks and responsibilities: - By hunting new customers, you create a strong acceleration on the growth of the region. - You proactively research the market for opportunities mainly in the food industry and build long-term relations with your (new) customers. - You function as an expert in order to understand your customers and help them achieve their supply chain needs. - You visit your prospects and customers regularly (at least 50% of the time) and support them to keep them aligned with their contract. - You are responsible for the profitability of new and existing contracts which you will follow up with regular evaluations of contractual parameters. Your profile - At least 5 years of sales experience in a B2B environment within logistics and supply chain. - A natural born hunter with a winners-mentality. - Strong communication skills and an excellent knowledge of Italian and English. - A professional and strong personality with the power to influence, convince and connect. - Self-motivated and able to work independently while regularly checking in with your team. - Very well organized and excellent time management skills. - Motivated to understand and solve customer challenges as a part of a European team that makes a tangible difference in logistics. - You live in the north of the country, in the area of Bologna.
