Qualifications Degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics or related field Fluent in Italian and English (both verbal and written); Spanish and French are strong assets High self-motivation and ability to work independently and collaboratively Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills Confidence and ease in engaging with clients in both academic and commercial settings Preferred Qualifications Experience in account management or scientific sales Background in pharmaceutical / biotechnology industries (2 years) Hands-on experience in molecular biology techniques (e.g. cloning, virus packaging) Proven ability to communicate complex scientific topics clearly Familiarity with CRM systems like HubSpot Responsibilities Manage and grow accounts within Southern Europe Develop and maintain strong relationships with research institutions and key accounts, acting as their main point of contact through both regular on-site visits and virtual engagements (meetings, presentations, product showcases) Identify new opportunities via direct outreach (e.g. cold calls / emails) Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through professional and responsive support Collaborate with the Regional Sales Director, internal teams, and fellow account managers to align on strategy, share insights, and ensure customer satisfaction Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of VectorBuilder’s offerings and communicate scientific solutions effectively Includes quarterly performance commission J-18808-Ljbffr
