Technical Sales Manager – Italy
Location: Remote, must be based in production regions between Milan and Provence
Reporting to: Country Manager
Role Overview
We are looking for a Technical Sales Manager to lead commercial and technical sales activities across Italy. This position suits a candidate who can confidently engage in technical conversations with customers while also managing pricing discussions and closing business.
The role combines consultative technical selling with strategic account growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and grow sales of feed additives with feed mills, premix manufacturers and large trading companies
* Deliver technical support and product positioning during customer meetings
* Drive new customer acquisition and expand existing accounts
* Lead commercial negotiations and close sales agreements
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity
* Collaborate with the Country Manager on regional sales planning
Requirements
* Degree in Animal Nutrition, Animal Science, or Veterinary-related field
* Experience in technical sales within animal nutrition or feed markets
* Strong ability to translate technical value into commercial outcomes
* Fluent Italian
* English proficiency (B1–B2 level minimum)
* Comfortable managing a territory-based, remote role
