3. About the role
4. We are currently looking for a Sales Executive (reporting to the Sales Director) to help us build up our business activities in Italy (Emilia-Romagna area) by selling the entire PLM software solution suite to Strategic Named Accounts and/or within key vertical markets. In this role, you will establish and maintain relationships at senior and executive management levels to drive and increase pipeline and sales activities, positioning Siemens Digital Industries Software as a preferred provider and trusted advisor that best responds to customer needs.

6. Use comprehensive knowledge of the customer’s industry, market segment, business operations, direction, focus, and resources to demonstrate Siemens PLM value;
7. Create effective competitive strategies to reduce threats and gather competitive information through win/loss analysis;
8. Engage prospects and develop strategic recommendations that position Siemens Industry Software (SISW) products and services to advance the customer’s strategic initiatives and deliver mutual value;
9. Build a broad influential network to create additional opportunities;
10. Establish overall territory plans and maintain a sales pipeline to achieve targets and quotas;
11. Ensure forecast accuracy for the account portfolio;
12. Collaborate with colleagues such as Pre-sales consultants, Portfolio Developers (PFD), etc.;
13. Lead cross-functional teams to create a competitive advantage.
14. Your Profile
15. Engineering master’s degree or equivalent;
16. A successful track record (5+ years) in selling complex technical software solutions, with experience in selling one or more of the following: PLM, ALM, CAx (Design or Simulation), BI, Cloud, or MOM;
17. Ability to manage complex sales, lead cross-functional teams, and achieve targets;
18. Ability to identify key stakeholders and decision-makers, establishing long-term relationships of trust, credibility, and respect;
19. Strategic thinker with strong influencing and communication skills at all levels;
20. Native Italian speaker, fluent in English;
21. Flexible to work independently and collaboratively;
22. Willing to travel.
