AWS is looking for an experienced professional who loves technology, is hungry for driving change, and wants to make a global impact. You will own, build, and run technology sourcing and operations, engaging with multiple teams to drive plans and execution to satisfy the demanding needs of a high‑growth industry impacting markets worldwide.
The procurement team is seeking a results‑oriented individual to launch new Power Module and Electromechanical products, manage geography expansions, and oversee contract manufacturing. Supply Chain Product Managers develop sourcing strategies and clear action plans to support new product launches and sustain existing products.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive new product introductions for Amazon Power Module and Component (PSUs, Power Shelves, Inverters, Power cables, Power Shelf Controller PCBAs) by qualifying and securing sub‑tier component sources, qualifying engineering pre‑launch, and ensuring supply chain resiliency through validated alternate suppliers while meeting launch timing, cost, and quality objectives.
* Partner with design, engineering, manufacturing teams and suppliers to implement robust product/configuration management processes, driving timely qualification of alternate sources to guarantee supply availability at launch.
* Matrix manage team members across all functions to develop new product plans and sustaining processes, interacting with Global Commodity Managers, Global Supply Managers, Technical PM, SQE, Supply Chain, DFX, Finance, etc.
* Represent ISCaP with product design teams, influencing and negotiating for design for supply chain.
* Communicate project status updates to various stakeholders, synthesizing issues into clear, concise, focused messages and presenting with confidence and brevity.
* Drive improved visibility around transition planning events, especially regarding End of Marketing (EOM), End of Sales (EOS), and End of Production (EOP).
Skills & Qualifications
* Extensive knowledge of supply chain, Power Module and Electromechanical products, product lifecycle management, roadmap planning, and product requirement decision making.
* Entrepreneurial drive and proven ability to take ownership, influence others, and execute in all phases of the product development life cycle.
* Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to listen effectively.
* Excellent creative thinking skills with emphasis on developing innovative solutions to solve complex problems that may not have one clear answer.
* Demonstrated capability to negotiate requirements and decisions effectively across diverse teams and lead through influence.
* Proven ability to execute in all phases of the product development life cycle, delivering high‑quality hardware products on time.
* Demonstrated ability to work in a self‑directed manner, seeking areas needing attention rather than being asked to look at specific problem areas.
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or advanced degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance, or related technical or quantitative field.
* 5+ years of sheet metal and/or thermal (fan, heatsink, liquid cooling) supply chain/manufacturing experience.
* 6+ years of work experience in program, project, or product management, or leading implementation of technical products, or 4+ with advanced degree.
* 3+ years of experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, Pivot Tables, SQL, Tableau, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
* 10+ years of experience overseeing global project management teams.
* MBA or advanced degree in engineering, operations research, mathematics, or other quantitative disciplines.
* Strong program management skill set with ability to lead cross‑functional teams.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Compensation and Benefits
Base pay ranges from $133,200 per year in the lowest geographic market to $220,200 per year in the highest geographic market. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
