The Wholesale Sales Manager will serve as the primary liaison for Guess Footwear, acting as the central link between European wholesale partners and internal teams to ensure commercial alignment, operational execution, and long-term account growth. The role combines account management, market insight, and cross-functional coordination to drive wholesale performance across the European market.
Responsibilities:
Wholesale & Account Management
* Serve as the primary liaison between European wholesale partners and internal teams (Sales & Product).
* Partner with Guess Europe to manage and support key wholesale accounts across multiple European territories.
* Drive seasonal sell-in and sell-through strategies aligned with brand and revenue goals.
Market & Performance Analysis
* Monitor sell-in, sell-through, and inventory performance across accounts.
* Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and regional consumer behavior in footwear.
* Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve account performance and distribution efficiency.
Relationship & Brand Management
* Build strong, long-term relationships with buyers, merchandisers, and retail leadership across Europe.
* Ensure brand standards are upheld across all wholesale touchpoints.
* Align wholesale needs with product development and merchandising teams, providing feedback on assortment, pricing, and fit for the European market
Skills & Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in wholesale, sales, or account management within the footwear industry.
* Strong understanding of the European footwear market and regional retail dynamics.
* Proven ability to manage multiple accounts across different countries and cultures.
* Regular travel across Europe (estimated 30–40%), including key account visits & Guess Corp office visits
* Experience working cross-functionally in an international organization.
* Strong commercial acumen and data-driven decision-making skills.
* Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
* Analytical mindset with comfort working in sales and inventory data.
* Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Fluent English required, additional European languages a strong plus.
