Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Florence. As a Night Receptionist, you will be the primary point of contact and the face of the hotel for our guests during the night hours. You will be responsible for ensuring a seamless, secure, and exceptional service experience from late evening through to early morning. Your role is crucial in maintaining our high standards of hospitality and operational integrity around the clock.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist guests during the night shift, guaranteeing a courteous and professional service at all times.
- Manage night-time check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
- Handle reservations and walk-in enquiries.
- Supervise the security and proper functioning of the property during the night hours.
- Perform daily end-of-day accounting procedures and compile comprehensive end-of-shift reports.
- Collaborate with the daytime reception team and management to ensure service continuity and quality.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience in a front desk or reception role, preferably within the hospitality sector. Experience in a 4 or 5-star hotel is a significant advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a calm and problem-solving attitude.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently during night hours.
- Reliability, integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility regarding security protocols.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and basic accounting procedures for shift closure.
- Fluency in English and Italian is essential; additional languages are a plus.
