He/She will collaborate closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements, conduct product demonstrations, assist customers/partners in Proof of Concept setups, and articulate the value proposition of Parallels solutions. As the market is rapidly changing, the Sr SE must quickly learn new technologies and understand their benefits. Beyond technical expertise, the Sr SE should be a good communicator who thrives on collaboration with customers and partners. Possessing a sense of ownership and trustworthiness, they should empathize with customers, translating their needs into tailored solutions offered by Parallels. The ideal candidate not only possesses the technical skills but is also enthusiastic about conducting occasional training sessions for partners and customers. Willingness to travel to marketing events for on-booth or on-stage support is also required. This position is open to candidates located in the European Union or United Kingdom, mainly supporting customers/partners in Europe and the Middle East. Fluency in English is mandatory; additional languages are a strong plus, especially Arabic, given the focus on the Middle East. Responsibilities: Perform detailed demonstrations of Parallels products. Provide in-depth technical assistance to potential customers. Manage Proof of Concepts, ensuring they meet customer/partner requirements and are completed on time. Offer guidance, recommendations, and expert advice on technical issues. Maintain advanced knowledge of Parallels and competitors’ products. Develop project concepts and proposals to address customer needs. Coordinate with Account Managers, Sales Management, and Channel Partners to support sales efforts. Support technical sales activities for potential and existing customers. Plan and conduct technical training sessions and webinars online and at partner/customer locations. Mentor and train Sales Engineers, new hires, and sales teams as needed. Required Skills, Technical and Non-Technical: At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in Sales Engineering within virtualization, security, and IT infrastructure domains. Hands-on experience with at least one of the following: Parallels RAS, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop, VMWare Horizon, Microsoft RDS, or Azure Virtual Desktop. Deep knowledge of Microsoft Remote Desktop Services (TS/RDSH/Application/Desktop) and VDI publishing. Understanding of IT infrastructure solutions related to Systems, Network, and Security. Experience with cloud platforms, mainly Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS. Ability to perform product demonstrations and presentations to technical and executive audiences. Strong technical writing, presentation, communication, and training skills. Additional Requirements: Proactive attitude to compete with Citrix, VMware, and other competitors.
