Our Client, an International Group, produces high-quality water-treatment solutions for different sectors.

Product Innovation is constant and Business brisk.

As part of the Group’s evolution, we are seeking an International Sales Director to further develop the Business and Team.

Global Sales Director
Location: Central Italy

Are you an experienced Sales Leader with an Engineering or Business background ready to take on a key role in an expanding international Group?

Our client is seeking a talented and ambitious Sales Director (m/f/d) for its profitable business headquartered in Central Italy.

You will lead and expand a commercial team of 25 based both in Italy and abroad.

What you will do

Reporting to the Group’s BoD, you will:

Develop and implement National and International sales strategy

Collaborate on this with the other corporate functions and the BoD

Manage and further develop the competence of the Sales and Commercial team

Support the Sales team as required in negotiations and complex client management / requests

Travel 50% of the time nationally and internationally to visit clients, take part in business events and trade fairs, visit Sales colleagues and Sales offices abroad

Manage Top Clients and Private Label projects

What you have

Solid technical, engineering or business education

Fluent English and Italian

Proven B2B Sales and Commercial Experience

Experience in Private Label / OEM Sales and Sales via Distributors

Distributor Management and development experience

Proven People-management and development experience

Proven ability to manage and increase multi-million revenues internationally

Willingness to travel for up to 50% of the time

Willingness to spend the other 50% of the time at the HQ in Central Italy

Digital literacy, driving licence

Experience and competence in collaborating with colleagues nationally and internationally

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Keen to expand the business and take the company to the next level
