MSC Technology Italy is seeking a BI Project Manager with solid experience in Business Intelligence and data-driven initiatives to lead BI projects within the MSC Technology landscape
.The role will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-country BI initiatives, acting as the key coordination point between IT, business stakeholders, and external partners.
Role and Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end projects from initiation to go-live and stabilization, including reporting, analytics, and data platform initiatives.
Define project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and deliverables in alignment with business and IT stakeholders.
Facilitate cross-functional and cross-country teams' collaboration.
Manage project plans, activities progress, risks, dependencies, and issues, ensuring on-time delivery.
Ensure effective communication, reporting, and escalation toward key stakeholders and project sponsors.
Support change management, training, and post go-live support activities related to BI solutions.
Provide coaching and mentoring to support the project team.
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Engineering, Data Management, Economics, or a related field.
At least 4–6 years of experience in IT project management roles, preferably within Business Intelligence or data-related environments.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage complex initiatives involving multiple teams.
Excellent command of English (C1 level), both written and spoken.
Nice to have
Project Management certifications (CAPM/PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or similar).
Experience in global transformation or digitalization programs.
Familiarity with Agile, Hybrid, or Waterfall project delivery methodologies.
Experience working within a BI Center of Excellence or global governance model.
Experience delivering Business Intelligence or Data projects, preferably in international or multi-country contexts.
Understanding of Business Intelligence and analytics processes (e.g. data integration, reporting, dashboards, KPIs, data quality).
