Project Scheduler
Role Overview
You will be part of a dedicated Project Management team supporting large-scale EPC (Engineering,
Procurement, Construction) projects in the heavy industry sector. As Project Scheduler, you will serve as the primary point of contact for integrated time schedules, with full ownership of their development and maintenance throughout both the sales and execution phases. You will work in a complex, multidisciplinary environment interfacing with internal engineering and procurement departments as well as external customers and key business partners.
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain integrated time schedules for major international EPC projects across all project phases
• Exercise overall deadline control and governance across the full internal value chain (Engineering,
Procurement, Construction)
• Monitor, review, and consolidate sub-project and discipline-level schedules with an appropriate level of granularity
• Act as the primary contact and subject matter expert within the project team for all time scheduling and deadline control matters
• Track project progress and validate corresponding forecasts against the baseline schedule
• Prepare and distribute progress reports and schedule status updates to relevant stakeholders
• Analyse schedule deviations and evaluate critical paths, identifying risks and recovery options
• Calculate and interpret buffer times, trend analyses, and what-if scenarios to support decision-making
• Extract, interpret, and leverage project data from SAP to support schedule analysis and progress
monitoring
• Communicate effectively as a core team member with customers and main business partners
Requirements
Education & Experience
• Degree in Engineering, Economics, or a related discipline
• 5–10 years of professional experience in project scheduling within large-scale industrial or plant
engineering projects
• Proven track record in complex, multidisciplinary EPC project environments
Technical Competencies
• Strong expertise in Primavera P6 and MS Project
• Advanced knowledge of project scheduling methodologies, including critical path analysis
• Experience in integrating schedules across multiple disciplines and stakeholders
• Familiarity with SAP for project data extraction and progress monitoring
• Ability to develop professional, high-quality reporting; proficiency in Power BI (preferred) and advanced Excel
