Main Duties
Your key responsibilities will include:
Work with the sushi team, delegate duties effectively, ensuring operational standards, safety, and consistency are upheldOversee food preparation processes, minimizing waste and maintaining control of stock through regular inventory checks and planningEnsure the sushi area and all sections of the kitchen are ready for service, demonstrating versatility and leadership across the kitchenEstimate food needs accurately and plan orders for perishables and equipment, optimizing resources and minimizing excessMaintain high standards for equipment use and handling, reducing breakages and ensuring compliance with food safety regulationsSupport the growth of the sushi team through training, regular performance reviews, and structured onboarding for new members.
