We welcome and encourage everyone who has a passion and curiosity for innovation, technology, and play to explore our open positions and join our growing global team. /p pThe PlayStation brand falls under Sony Interactive Entertainment, a wholly‑owned subsidiary of Sony Group Corporation. /p h3Role Overview /h3 pAs Manager, Commercial for Italy, you will lead a team of Commercial Managers within PlayStation’s Global Channel Sales Operations (CSO) organisation. /p pReporting to the Head of Sales for the territory, you will work closely with the Commercial Managers, Commercial Planning and Business Analysts Teams to implement and execute the commercial strategy across physical and digital retail channels, driving revenue growth and profitability. /p h3Commercial Strategy Execution /h3 ulliCollaborate with the Head of Sales, Commercial Planning and Business Analysts Teams to develop and implement the Italian commercial strategy, in conjunction with Global commercial strategy /liliManage the Commercial Managers team to delivery revenue objectives and hit targets across PlayStation’s physical product portfolio (consoles, peripherals, software and vouchers). /li /ul h3Retailer Management /h3 ulliOptimise, develop and nurture relationships with key accounts and retail partners, delivering a collaborative approach to joint business planning and execution. /liliCollaborate with the Head of Sales and Commercial Planning team on commercial terms, promotional planning and online/in-store product visibility. /li /ul h3People Management (Best Place to Work) /h3 ulliManage, develop and inspire a team of high‑performing Commercial Managers to deliver sales forecasts. /liliLead empathetically, fostering a culture of accountability, creativity and customer‑centricity. /li /ul h3Insights Forecasting /h3 ulliLiaise with the Business Insights Analyst to bring to life sales data, market trends and competitor activity. /liliSupport forecasting using knowledge of retailer plans /li /ul h3Cross‑Functional Alignment /h3 ulliCollaborate with other managers across Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Global Teams to ensure optimum business delivery. /liliChampion a “We Are One” culture within the Italian territory. /li /ul h3Innovation Growth /h3 ulliIdentify and develop new business opportunities and growth initiatives across the Italian retail landscape and PlayStation product portfolio to drive revenue and operating profit. /liliEncourage team innovation to improve team efficiency and output. /li /ul h3What We’re Looking For /h3 pThe ideal candidate is analytical, meticulous, and adaptable, someone who can learn quickly and thrive in a dynamic environment. /p h3Desirable skills/experience /h3 ulliBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. /lili8+ years (or equivalent) proven experience in commercial management roles within the gaming, entertainment, consumer electronics, tech or FMCG industries. /liliPeople management experience /liliDeep commercial knowledge and an Italian retail landscape expert, with experience negotiating at a senior level. /liliSolution focussed with a proactive attitude. /liliStrong ability to develop influential and collaborative relationships. /liliA “team‑first” mindset. /liliFluency in English is essential and experience of working in a multinational organisation is an advantage. /li /ul pPlease note, Sony Interactive Entertainment conducts background checks at the offer stage for all new employees (which may include criminal background checks for some roles) and will need to process personal information to support these checks. /p pPlease refer to our Candidate Privacy Notice for more information about what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your data protection rights. /p h3Equal Opportunity Statement /h3 pSony is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
