We are looking for a Business Development Manager for IIoT Cybersecurity & Networking to be based in Milan within the Process Automation Digital Industries Division.

This Business Development role involves supporting and driving profitable sales growth of our Cybersecurity and Networking portfolio. Responsibilities include proactive planning, creating demand, influencing specifications, targeting and penetrating accounts, driving promotional activities, collaborating on sales efforts, preparing budget proposals, managing opportunity pipelines, delivering customer presentations, and other related activities.

* Develop strategic concepts and engage in technological business development to expand into new markets and attract new customers.
* Define market strategies and identify business opportunities through Solutions Partners and top customers in Italy.
* Scale business growth with an end-to-end customer approach, defining and driving early engagement on large and strategic projects to expand the Italian market.
* Report functionally to the Digital Connectivity Headquarters to drive sales initiatives and strategies, collaborating with the global team.

What you need to bring:

* Proven experience in business development or sales within cybersecurity and networking for operational and IT environments in Italy.
* Strong ability to identify and close business opportunities.
* Experience in strategic planning and industry trend analysis to shape go-to-market strategies.
* Experience working with clients at executive and IT levels.
* Customer-facing experience and opportunity management skills.
* Ability to work effectively in complex customer environments.
* Excellent communication skills in Italian and English.
* Collaborative mindset across functions and businesses.
* Commitment to developing technology responsibly and ethically.
* Openness and inclusiveness as core cultural values.
* Eligibility to work in Italy.
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, telecommunications, information technology, or electronics preferred.
* Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
