Based in Florence
Givenchy Italy is a subsidiary of Givenchy SA based in Paris with two main activities: industrial activity (in contact with Italian subcontractors, for the production of leather goods and accessories/jewels/shoes) and a distribution activity with Wholesale, Flagships and Outlet in Italy.
Acts as a true business partner for the Industrial Director who is in charge of the management of the Italian subsidiary, but is also in contact with many other functions, internally at Givenchy HQ, Italy and she became part of the LVMH Network Italy for finance, general services and compliance topics.
The role report hierarchically to Accessories Industrial Operations Director and functionally to the Givenchy SA CFO.
Job Responsibilities
Finance & Administration activities
Finance Director for Industrial and Retail area with Main responsibilities:
- Responsible for preparing the financial statements in accordance with the Italian accounting principle;
- Provide the financial statement and reporting for the Parent Company in accordance with IFRS principles;
- LVMH Group reporting : P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash;
- Financial planning (Budget, Revised budgets, Strategic plan) of the subsidiary;
- Ensuring to deliver the strategic plan in a sustainable manner, maximizing profitability and addressing major strategic issues with long-term impact
- Leadership responsibility for ensuring all aspects of the reporting, accounting and planning processes are on track
- Performance measurement through proper management control system and KPIs
- Sales and Retail Capital Expenditure evaluation and recommendation
- Regular relations with all Statutory bodies, audit firms, fiscal Authorities, external consultants
- Develop and implement of internal control system in compliance with LVMH policies and procedures
- Point of reference Model 231 and ODV (Organismo di Vigilanza)
- Legal support for Italy to HQ
General Services, Maintenance and IT Management
Under the perimeter of Finance Director there are also other areas:
- Managing General service activities: management of general service, purchasing for Industrial and Retail;
- Managing the Maintenance activities for the Industrial site, for Retail and for Milan wholesale office;
- Defining contracts in accordance with cost saving policies and ensuring the delivery of services;
- Managing IT technical request with HQ collaboration and managing the external IT resource based in Italy;
Profile
YOUR PROFILE - Proven experience in Finance ( both controlling and administration) within the luxury or retail industry. - Strong leadership skills with a track record of Team management. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - In-depth knowledge of process and procedure for Industrial and Retail. - Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. -Knowledge of SAP, GYPO, PLM, CEGID and tool for budgeting and reporting - Language Proficiency: Very good Italian and English language skills. - Knowledge of Italian law and administrative rules and obligations Internal Stakeholder: Operation Director Retail Emea Director HQ departments External Stakeholder: Auditor Sindaco Organismo di Vigilanza Consultant
