Overview
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the NAVSUP FLCSI of NAVSUP FLC SIG GF, Italy. This position is open to Internal to an agency and eligible candidates per the announcement. Open dates: 09/05/2025 to 09/12/2025. Salary: $90,025 to $117,034 per year. Locality pay is not authorized overseas. Pay scale & grade: GS 13. Location: Capodichino, Italy. 1 vacancy. Remote job: No. Telework eligible: Yes — This position is eligible for part time, substantial or ad-hoc telework at management discretion. Travel: 25% or less. Responsibilities
* You will serve as the Deputy Site Director to the Operational Site Director with responsibility for formulating, planning and directing program operations needed to ensure effective logistics support to all site customers.
* You will provide short- and long-term strategic planning and make recommendations as needed to the changing business environment.
* You will ensure logistics organizational changes are carried out in an effective manner and ensure resources are properly applied to meet command goals.
* You will advise on the establishment of agreements with logistics service providers.
* You will be responsible for the development and execution of plans and policies that allow for business growth and the ability to accomplish the command''s mission.
* You will establish, monitor and update agreements with service providers.
* You will plan work, adjust priorities, and prepare schedules for subordinate employees.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in private/public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate:
1. Prior experience leading logistics organizations, conducting logistics planning, and executing logistics operations.
2. Experience in one or more areas of transportation, supply, maintenance, warehousing, hazardous materials, or contracting.
3. Experience as both a first line leader of a logistics team as well as staff experience from a logistics division of an operational command.
4. Diverse logistics backgrounds from other services or federal agencies can fully succeed in this position.
5. Experience managing human and financial resources.
6. Able to leverage past experience, task organize, and delegate to work through supervisors and division officers across several different products and services.
