You will interface internally withleaders from our Retail and Vendor Services teams and will be responsiblefor all aspects of the vendor’s business with Amazon. You will engagedirectly with multiple internal teams to optimize the product line for keymanufacturers (vendors) on Amazon.com. You will utilize a wide range ofskills and work across major functional areas such as site merchandising,buying, inventory management, finance, operations and online marketing, todrive the performance of strategic vendor partners at Amazon. In this roleyou will be focused on the strategic and operational aspects of managingthe customer relationships with our vendors.You will conceive, create and analyze a wide range of marketing and sitemerchandising efforts, to include marketing campaigns to grow thevendor’s traffic, brand awareness, customer conversion, and revenue onAmazon. Also you will look into strategic and operational aspects of theirbusiness with Amazon, root cause analysis of issues and opportunitiesaffecting the vendor’s business.Responsibilities Include Success will be measured by the performance of your internal teams oninput metrics and impact of vendors on creating a great customer experiencefor buying consumers Partnering with the Retail Category Team and managing the vendorrelationship by championing the vendor’s needs at Amazon Build strong communication channels at all levels, set properexpectations, provide clear status communications, and manage towards agrowth plan for the vendors Build and execute on a strategic account plan that delivers on keybusiness opportunities and relevant KPIs for the vendors and Amazon Work with internal Amazon teams/vendors to improve operational aspectsof their business in providing a great consumer experience Conduct deep dive analysis on the handled issues for the vendors andpublish recommendations and action plans based on data to improve vendorexperience Provide thought leadership around planning, roadmaps andexecution Establish long term partnerships with key vendor partners for thegroup of vendors handled Support the launches of new programs, categories and features Conduct regular WBR, MBRs with the vendors highlight business metricperformance and building action plans Operate in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment with fullcontrol and responsibility of achieving business objectives Develop original ideas, approaches, and solutions to typical, unusualor difficult situations or problems Demonstrate active listening skills, highly consultative andsolutions-orientedWe are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the followinglocations:Bucharest, ROU | Iasi, ROU | Virtual Location – ROUBasic Qualifications Advanced level of English and minimum B2 level for Spanish Language,C1 preferred Bachelors degree required Work experience is preferred (3+ years). Relevant experience in Vendormanagement, Sales, post sales, Account Management, and Business Developmentin managing B2B Business. Proven analytical skills and demonstrated ability to manage thebusiness “by the numbers”. Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.Ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly. Ability to work in teams and ultimately focus on delivering resultswith high standards Attention to detail and capability to work on multiple projects inparallelPreferred Qualifications Exposure to retail buying, retail planning & allocation,product/project management, marketing or e-commerce will be a plus SQL and VBA knowledge Lean Six SigmaAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
