About NRG+

NRG+ is an international renewable energy developer focused on the origination and development of solar PV, wind and energy storage (BESS) projects across Europe and Latin America. As part of a growing renewable energy group active across the full project lifecycle — from development to engineering and EPC through our affiliated companies — we are expanding our presence in new European markets. We are currently looking for a Business Developer to support our international expansion strategy and help identify new opportunities for renewable energy development.

The Role

The Business Developer will play a key role in identifying and evaluating new European markets for renewable energy project development. The position involves analyzing regulatory frameworks, assessing development opportunities and supporting the definition of market entry will work closely with senior management to support the expansion of NRG+ into new markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze new European markets for renewable energy project development

• Assess regulatory frameworks, permitting processes, grid connection rules and incentive mechanisms

• Evaluate market attractiveness, risks and entry barriers

• Identify potential local partners, developers and land origination opportunities

• Support the definition and execution of market entry strategies

• Coordinate early-stage project origination activities in selected markets

• Prepare strategic reports and investment analyses for senior management

• Support negotiations with local partners, consultants and service providers

• Monitor regulatory developments and market trends across Europe

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in renewable energy project development, business development or energy projects

• Experience with solar PV, wind or BESS projects

• Strong understanding of European renewable energy markets

• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills

• Ability to analyze regulatory frameworks and market data

• Ability to work independently in a remote and international environment

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Languages

Italian – required

English – required

Spanish and/or Portuguese – preferred
